Santa magic, for everyone

1.Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA across alittlesantamagic.com, your private Santa page and our emails. We test with keyboards, screen readers and small screens, and we fix problems in our own code rather than relying on overlay widgets.

2.What we've built in

• Captions on Santa's personalized videos and on our video samples.
• Transcripts for every recording: the letter PDF is the exact text Santa reads, and our audio samples show their full words on the page.
• No sound plays on its own. Sample clips on our pages are silent, and every player has labeled play and pause buttons you can use with a keyboard.
• Reduced motion respected. If your device asks for less motion, looping clips stay still.
• Readable contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 for body text, and text that resizes to 200%.
• Works on small screens down to 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling.
• Clear forms: every field has a label, errors are explained in words, and there are no time limits on our forms.
• Checkout choices are fair: consent boxes start unticked, and "No thanks" is as easy to reach as "Add".
• Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.

3.If a phone call doesn't work for your family

Santa's call is voice only. If that doesn't suit your child, tell us before the call and we'll refund the call or, if you prefer, swap it for Santa's personalized video, which has captions.

4.Known limits

• Some partner keepsake sites are run by other companies, and their accessibility is outside our control.
• Older browsers may not support every feature. The latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge work best.

5.Tell us what's hard

Email help@alittlesantamagic.com with the page, what you were trying to do and what happened. You don't need an order number. Our AI helper answers right away in the chat at /help or by phone at (702) 819-6367, and our team is alerted to every accessibility message it can't resolve and replies by email. We can also help you order by email.
